HOPE14 New Year's Eve Benefit Gala

Dear Widow’s Hope Foundation and Benefactor,

After reviewing from multiple sources the weather forecast for New Year’s Eve, and the reports of possible -10 degree weather with -40 degree wind chill factor, and a 46% chance of snow flurries, the event organizers for this event, on advice with external risk management experts, have decided that it’s in the best interest of all that we postpone our HOPE14 New Year Benefit Gala, which was to be held at Spasso Restaurant in Minnetonka.

We are postponing HOPE14 with a heavy heart since it was shaping up to be another fun, energetic, and probably sold-out event, with incredible music, great dancing, a rich flowing chocolate fountain, colorful balloon drop, champagne toast, Rolling Raffles, and Exotic Live Auction.

Regardless, in Widow’s Hope Foundation, the safety of our benefactors and volunteers always comes first, so this is a decision we felt we needed to take for your well-being.  Arrangements have been made to immediately refund the tickets already purchased.

But “postponed” means “postponed”; not cancelled.  We still have the enthusiasm, the balloons, the champagne, the decorations and the joy.  Our dance clothes are pressed and ready to hit the dance floor with you; we’ll be in touch just as soon as we have a new date.

Hosted by Widow's Hope Foundation, HOPE14 is Minneapolis' premier annual New Year's Eve Benefit Gala and will be held at Spasso Restuarant from 9:00 pm Tuesday, December 31st, 2013 to 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 1st, 2014.
 
This year's HOPE14 will include memory-making laughter, tremendous fun, great dancing to A Band Called Soul featuring Mick Sterling, Cate Fierro, Katie Gearty and a 10-piece band with 3-piece horn section, heavy hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening, midnight champagne toast, and access to the Spasso Restuarant cash bar until 2:00 a.m.  
 
Car service home will be available throughout the evening or choose a designated driver.  If you drink, please don't drive.
 
An exotic live auction will be held at 10:30 p.m. the night of the event, and you must be present to win. Your door admission ticket # is your all-events single id # for door admission, coat check, and any raffle tickets you purchase online now or on the night of the event.  Cost for raffle tickets are $ 40 for 5 tickets advance online purchase,  and $ 10 per ticket the night of the event.

The value of the goods and services included in the Gala ticket price is $50.  The value of what you pay over and above $ 50 per ticket is tax-deductible in accordance with federal law.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
